This Section is Solely for Classic Assist and Razor Scripts. Do not post scripts for other assistant programs here. They will be removed.

If you share a script and It stops working, please attempt to fix it or ask to have it removed.

If you share a script that does not do what you claim it does, it will be removed.

If you share a script that intentionally causes harm to other players, such as making them trash their gear, It will not only be removed, but we will act accordingly towards the offender which may include a total ban.

If you use any script here, please note that the only people responsible for the script's actions is the user and its creator, so please review them as best as you can and look for anything you might not want in your script. In the future we will create a list of scripts that have been verified by staff.

I just uploaded 62 html files, 201 images, and the new client installer pack to the webhost. When visiting the website, you may need to refresh many pages due to cookies your computer saves. All the main site pages were redone, the main codex of lore page had some significant modifications done to it, and the dungeons section was redone. There is now information on 22 dungeons on the website including images of what their bonus loot chest looks like. Check it out when you have a chance.


Also note that all the old download links for old versions of the client have been removed. If you had previously installed our version of classicuo with classic assist, I recommend downloading the newest version of it. There was an issue we discovered within the classicuo files on where it directs the streamed map updates to save, that was creating some of the map issues people were experiencing. I fixed the issue of where it saves those streamed map updates, which should solve most of those issues.

Those new to classicuo and our version of it, The installers for it by default will direct it to program files folder/The Dark Tides/The Dark Tides the older client we used that was built from the uo client was installed to program files/Dark Tides/Dark Tides. This was done to allow people to try out the classicuo version during the initial stages but not mess with the other install.

We encourage everyone to start thinking about switching over. There will be a learning curve for all of us with it, but it is a good change in the long run. What I can say is that if those of us that are good with working with these scripts for classic assist and the razor version share some of the scripts it will help others who are transitioning to the new client.

As far as future patches go, there will be at least a 6 month period before we do one or consider doing one. There is a lot of stuff I want to add, but it will take a lot of time to put it all together. We will not create patches for the older versions, since one of the things I want to do is add a few more mounts, and the old client will not allow for all the ones I want to add.

During the Restart on 7/5 into 7/6 (Monday Night/Tuesday Morning) We will be down for probably an hour or so for server maintenance. Once we are back online I will post on discord and on here.

Also I am gonna try and make the maintenance be a monthly thing around the beginning of every month. I will continue to post messages here in the new section of the forum prior to maintenance day as a reminder to everyone.

Please Read The Whole Thing It Includes Our Plan And Direction For The Future Of The Dark Tides!

As many of you know, we have been talking about shifting over to using ClassicUO Client instead of the traditional UO Client. This will be occurring soon. There are several reasons we are doing this. The ability to customize the client is far greater with ClassicUO then the traditional UO Client. It also clears away one of the bigger copyright issues that could be presented if the makers of UO actually decided to care.

There are some really cool features with the classicuo client such as the ability to zoom in and out on the game window. There is a nice world map feature that is in addition to the usual mini map feature. The client is a work in progress so it does have some minor issues that occasionally pop up. Some of those issues I would be able to fix, and others would need to be reported to the classicuo makers and added to their lists. ClassicUO offers the ability for us to potentially add more mounts then we would be able to with the traditional UO Client as well as potentially in the future add other things including new gear art and animations without replacing existing stuff. Which in my mind is a significant deal. Hands down it opens a whole new world of possibilities that the current client(traditional client) does not allow us. It is also more stable from my experience then the traditional client we have been using.

We will be uploading the download to the most up to date version of the ClassicUO Client with some slight modifications to it once a few other things are complete. The install package I have created for it works much better then the one we have been using with the traditional client, and it will include instructions on how to set it up as well as instructions being put on our website. With the install package there will be an option to use files that launch either Razor or Classic Assist. The Razor Version that will be with this does include scripting capabilities, and Classic Assist is similar to UOSteam.

Of course this will require time to move everyone over, and for people to start figuring out how to use the scripting functions of both assistant programs. We have a forum section for people to add scripts, but in the near future I will make that area a bit more defined so that it can be separated by assistant programs. We encourage players to start checking all of this stuff out once I get the newer version uploaded in the near future. There is an older version currently on the website but that only includes Classic Assist. Once I can find an easy way to include Razor Enhanced as an option in this install package, it will get included, but I have not found a way as of yet.

Also as part of all this, there will be a massive update/overhaul to the website that will be made at the same time. The change to the downloads/clients as previously described hinges on some of these changes to the website. These updates will include many dungeons being added to the codex of lore, brief summaries of the custom spell systems being added to the magic section that is currently not available, updates to the Status Deeds page to include the newer Lunar Status Levels, and as much more as I can in the next few days. Once I am able to these changes to the website will be made all at once. I will post another news announcement at that time.

One of the most significant changes to the dungeons pages is that I have added a section to the end of each page that shows what the bonus chest looks like for that dungeon. As a reminder some of the hues of them are similar to the hues of the standard chests, so remember to keep that in mind.

There will also be a big update to the page describing the Museum. It will include information about the museum, about the trade in system, and about the different tokens and currencies.

With these updates and the new client we plan to give roughly 6 months before we plan to release a patch. Significant work has already been done to change the art used for land masses, such as grass, dirt, mountains, desert, forest ground, and jungle ground. This work will be included for sure into that first patch. I have in the past shared screen shots of some of this work. We have art for new trees as well but I am not sure if that will be included in that first patch, as they still need a bunch of work to make them fully useable with our client. Once we start making patches again, but after the first one, you should expect to see changes in the art of some of the existing stuff and animations. This is because one of our goals has always been to create our own game and break away from Ultima. I have take steps to gain commercial right to a massive amount of art and animations(17.4 gigs worth currently) which will slowly trickle into use after that first patch, and I am very excited for it. There is some really awesome stuff that will give us the power to create some really cool areas and cool looking monsters.

None of this stuff is in place yet, but will be soon. When I have uploaded the new website changes and download changes, I will make another news announcement.

For those of you who might be iffy about all these changes coming, we sincerely hope you decide to stick with us on our journey and continue to enjoy the Dark Tides world as it grows into what it was always meant to be.

I've just made my first mountable statue [dragon construct statue] and I am slightly disappointed with the color, when asked, i was told they are not dyeable [colorable or wte]

So why not make a tool that create a dye for the mechanic pets you can create?

we can use ores or ingots, hides or leather, logs or boards, to paint our crafted pets, in time will have custom logs and leathers, and they can be added

for example, to make a light blue dye you'll need an empty bottle, 100 valorite ingots, 100 iron[base material for all metallic colors, 100 regular logs for wood colors, 100 regular leather for leather colors]  and a mixing bowl [the tool to make the dyes?] maybe add more ingridiants?

Also, you can combine dyes to create unique dyes, like star metal and myrite, or myrite and barbed

So First off Let Me Put the News.

During the maintenance I slipped in the missing granite resources that go along with the custom ore types. I also added them to masonry craft gump. So while mining for stone you can now get ebonrock granite, divine granite, demonyte granite, dark steel granite, myrite granite, and star metal granite. I have not coded the ore elementals for anything above ebonrock yet so that part is incomplete.

For Solaris Players will see the following mobs around Terra Map, and Andromeda Map:



Feeding these a power crystal or a super charged power crystal will get you a Solaris Gift Box.
Killing these will give you a chance to get the following items:

If You Collect 1 Lith Crystal, 15 Lith Spheres, 15 Lith Stones, then double click the Lith Crystal you will get 1 of 3 weapons, Light Bringer, Heaven's Fall, or Light's Breath.

If You Collect 1 Vox Crystal, 15 Vox Spheres, 15 Vox Stones, then double click the Vox Crystal you will get 1 of 3 weapons, Choking Darkness, Death's Demise, or Dark Heart.

Each Weapon comes in the Human/Elf and Gargoyle Variety. If You are a human or Elf, you will not get a Gargoyle Version and vice versa.

The Lith Weapons are used to kill Vox, and the Vox Weapons are used to kill Lith. Damage to the Above listed monsters is reduced if you do not use one of these weapons. The Monsters I will list Below cannot be hurt unless these weapons are equipped.



These Mobs are only found in one of two dungeon areas which you will be able to enter through The Spider Wall on the third level of the Atrium. There is a switch on the wall in the same room as it, that I will activate once the Holiday starts making it useable. Feed these mobs a power crystal and get a Solaris Gift Box, Feed them a super charged power crystal and get a Solaris Loot Chest. If You Kill them they have a chance to drop the following:

They have a ton of Hitpoints and Normal Weapons Will not be effective against them. I advise if you take them on, to do so in a party. You cannot feed them. If you kill them the following is what is potentially possible to get from them:

Lennox The Scientist is a Quest Giver you will find in the Atrium Beyond the Spider Wall. He Gives 3 Quests. These Quests Must be completed during the Holiday. The Quests are called Gather Cores, A Man Out Of Time, and Developing the Virus. Developing the Virus can be repeated several times during the Holiday, the other two cannot.

Quest Rewards:
A Man Out Of Time: Incubation Generator: addon : produces an incubation pod every 10 to 14 days, turns into a lith/vox non-bondable clone pet, releasing them causes them to auto delete. Takes 2 control/follower slots.

Gather Cores: Resource Generator: addon : produces a random resource every 10 to 14 days.

Developing the Virus: Bag Of Syringes: contains 5 Virus Syringes which when drag dropped on any lith or vox will kill them(not the same as feeding them. Kill rewards are possible) these do not effect the peerless.

***Addons are not owner bound, so if you do not want others using them, put them some place private***

You will also find around Terra and Andromeda Lith/Vox Portals that will spew forth mobs from them. These portals can be destroyed for a gold reward. destroying them will remove the mobs that came from it.

We will also potentially run some events during the holiday if there is time, and maybe some other little surprises.
